"Mommy! Poop fell out of my bum!"
The next installment in the ups and downs of potty-training:
Matthew refused to wear his big boy underwear this morning, and then refused to wear a diaper. I told him as long as he told me when he had to go to the bathroom, it was alright with me if he went Commando for a little while. Plus since he hadn't had anything to eat yet I thought the worst I would have to deal with is pee on the floor if he didn't tell me in time.
I'm busy trying to wake Chris up when I hear him calling "Mommy! Poop fell out of my bum!". Uh-oh, that can't be good. I go out to the computer room to find him straddling a large turd on the floor. He looks up at me, stunned at what just fell out, and we rush to the potty where he continues to tell me what just happened. I'm happy to report though that he sat on the potty and didn't complain about it (usually he tries to make an escape).
The best part of the story is that he chose to crap on the plastic computer chair mat and not on our carpet. Good boy! Maybe I should move the mat closer to the bathroom now so he'll get the idea. Just like paper training a puppy eh?
