Blood, everywhere!
Oh my god. How much blood can a 1 year old pump out of a tiny 1/2mm scratch on the tip of her index finger? Judging by the look of the kitchen, about 3.75 liters. As the story goes, I was watching TV, maya was up to go good walking around doing things. I got up to get a drink, I open the fridge and to my surprise there were blood stains all over the freezer door (where she likes to play, bounce and sing, oh AND we have an upsidown fridge where the freezer is on the bottom). I started to wonder, what the hell is that?! Oh, it's blood. Who's blood? Oh it must be Maya since it's at here level and Matthew was in bed. I found it all over the lower cabinets and on the floor and the high chair. Good grief, she must be in a corner somewhere bleeding to death. But nope, she's sitting under my computer desk playing with a tea set. A blood soaked tea set but a tea set none the less. I extracted her from there and started the inspection. All looked good. Then I looked at her right hand, blood soaked. I washed her under running tap water. Hand clean, ZERO sign of an open wounds or missing digits. Nothing that wound create the flow I've been seeing. Then the tip of her finger starts bleeding. Oh there it is.... huh?? It was so small I couldn't even see it. It was as if the atoms in that area were missing and it just started to flow. So I held her finger for a few seconds with a try Kleenex and completely stopped the flow of corpuses. I washed it again and, like wolverine, it had completely heeled with no sign of trauma. She went back to her bloody tea party and I went and cleaned up dried blood stains.
